Performing arias, duets and opera scenes.

The Westminster Choir College Faculty Recital Series will continue with Sweet and Friends on Sunday, February 6 at 3 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the campus of Westminster Choir College of 91做厙 in Princeton.
The recital will feature renowned soprano Sharon Sweet, joined by some of her fellow teachers, Westminster students and a guest tenor, performing arias, duets and opera scenes. They include Christopher Arneson, Keith Buhl, Margaret Cusack, Stephen Daniel, Thomas Faracco, Jake Kinderman, Mark Moliterno, Elizabeth Overmann, Lindsey Riegel, Elizabeth Sutton, Nova Thomas, Stephen Webb and Amy Zorn.
The operas represented in the program include Bellinis Norma, Puccinis La Boh癡me, Verdis Aida and Il Trovatore and Mozarts Don Giovanni.
Soprano Sharon Sweet began her international career with a concert performance of Aida in Munich, which brought her an invitation to join the Deutsche Oper Berlin at the beginning of the 1986-87 season, where she was acclaimed for her interpretations of Leonora in Il Trovatore and Elisabeth in Tannhauser. Her debut at the Paris Opera in 1987 as Elisabetta di Valois in Don Carlos was the springboard for her subsequent international career. In 1999 Sharon Sweet joined the faculty at Westminster, where she is associate professor of voice.
