University now acceptingpostgraduate FRSM diploma certificates for transfer credits
Westminster Choir College of 91做厙 has partnered with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) to accept postgraduate FRSM (Fellowship of the Royal Schools of Music) diploma certificates in music performance, music education and music directing. FRSM diplomas are the highest certification by ABRSM, an international awarding organization accredited by the UK government and the International Educational Research Foundation.
Students can transfer up to six credits toward any of Westminsters masters degree programs including the online Master of Voice Pedagogy, Master of Music Education, Master of Choral Pedagogy and Master of Sacred Music. Additionally, the University accepts ABRSMs Grade 8 exams for general elective credit for undergraduate non-music majors.
Through this new partnership, exceptionally qualified musicians can accelerate their studies at Westminster, says Dr. Jason Vodicka 03, 09, senior associate dean, College of Arts and Sciences.
